Qualifications

• Eight years of full-time experience in construction, repair, alteration and/or rehabilitation of multiple dwellings or large public buildings.
• At least 18 months in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
• Education and/or experience equivalent to the first requirement.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, and technical services for City shelters.
• Coordinate in-house trades staff and contracted personnel; oversee work orders and costs.
• Prepare scopes of work and contract specifications.
• Liaise with oversight agencies during facility inspections.
• Serve as contract manager for maintenance at designated locations.
• Advise staff on facility work affecting client areas.
• Perform related DHS shelter projects as assigned.
