Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services in Austin is seeking a Property Manager III to oversee facility and warehouse operations, leasing, space planning, and asset management for state office programs.

Under the guidance of the Business Services Manager, you will coordinate administrative support, manage service contracts, ensure safety compliance, and supervise staff to deliver reliable regional operations across offices in the state.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred experience in business operations and processes.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferred supervisory, managerial, professional, or technical work experience.
• Preferred experience managing multiple projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing as demonstrated in the application.

Responsibilities

• Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule and performs other duties as assigned.
• Conducts facility reviews and coordinates service requests, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Analyzes space usage and coordinates leasing or relocation options to optimize efficiency.
• Develops service contracts for regional offices including janitorial, security, and maintenance.
• Coordinates with warehouse and asset management staff for records and asset disposition.
• Assist in policy development and project work to improve service delivery and regional programs.
