Texas Workforce Commission is seeking an Infrastructure Services Director (Director III) in Austin to oversee and direct the agency's physical footprint, capital projects, and logistics. The role requires strong leadership across Construction & Facilities Management, Operations & Maintenance, Field Support, and Warehouse services.

You will drive modernization, ensure safety compliance, and lead a team that delivers cost-effective, enterprise-wide facilities solutions, including CMMS integration

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex capital and non-capital construction projects.
• Ability to lead facilities maintenance and warehouse operations with data-driven approaches.
• Strong knowledge of safety codes, fire regulations, and legislative mandates.
• Experience coordinating with brokers and property acquisitions.
• Ability to mentor managers and build high-performance teams.

Responsibilities

• Directs Construction & Facilities Management, Operations & Maintenance, Field Support, and Warehouse services.
• Oversees budget, procurement, and major expenditures.
• Promotes use of web-based monitoring tools for schedules and risk analysis.
• Leads facilities maintenance, technology integration, and ADA accessibility.
• Oversees field support and real estate operations; coordinates with brokers.
• Manages warehouse operations and inventory controls.
• Develops policies and coordinates audits.
• Supervises staff and supports professional growth.
