Job summary

Alaska Premier Auctions & Appraisals (APAA) seeks a full-time Facilities Maintenance & Safety Manager to lead and optimize our buildings, grounds, and safety programs in Alaska. You will oversee preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and vendor coordination while supporting operational excellence across the organization.

The role requires leadership of the Facilities Department, strong knowledge of OSHA standards, and hands-on problem solving to keep the workplace safe and efficient for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years in facilities management with supervisory experience.
• OSHA 10 certification within six months of hire; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Valid Alaska driver's license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, and appearance of all facilities.
• Plan and manage preventative maintenance programs for buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Coordinate safety inspections and OSHA compliance; maintain safety records.
• Lead facilities department staffing, performance coaching, and budgeting.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party contractors for repairs and projects.
