Job summary

Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR seeks an Associate Director of Facilities and Risk to provide leadership and operational direction for Recreational Sports facilities, grounds, and risk management. Full-time, 12-month professional faculty position reporting to the Director of Finance, Facilities and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of facility operations, maintenance programs, service delivery, operational planning, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and administrative oversight for Facility Services operations across Recreational Sports.
• Lead risk management and safety protocols, incident reporting, and emergency preparedness.
• Oversee budgets, contracted services, and vendor relationships to ensure reliable operations.
• Drive space utilization, asset management, and long-range facility planning.
• Support student employment and development within the department.
