Job summary

Southern Land Company is seeking a full-time Service Manager to join our Fort Worth team. This role focuses on maintaining and operating building facilities, supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring resident satisfaction in a luxury multifamily environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance leadership, HVAC/plumbing expertise, OSHA knowledge, and a proven ability to plan preventive maintenance, enforce safety, and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; EPA certification and OSHA familiarity preferred.
• 5+ years practical maintenance experience; proven service leadership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident request system and records for work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
• Operate within budgetary guidelines and support capital expenditure projects.
• Assist in hiring and evaluating maintenance staff; prepare operating budgets.
• Enforce safety policies and stay current on codes and standards.
• Coordinate 24-hour emergency coverage and on-call scheduling.
• Supervise staff, vendors, and contractors to maintain community assets.
