Job summary

ERG is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join a growing team supporting federal and commercial clients. The role is full-time onsite at Naval Support Facility Indian Head, MD, with coordination across ERG offices in MD and VA.

You’ll manage schedules, budgets, and staging for design, renovation, and construction projects, interfacing with engineers, management, and vendors. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years’ PM experience, and strong MS Project/Excel skills; DoD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering project management experience; federal contract experience preferred.
• Expertise in reviewing technical data packages and engineering drawings.
• Advanced MS Project expertise for complex scheduling with dependencies and critical path.
• Advanced Excel skills (VBA, lookups, pivot tables, scheduling forms) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work independently.
• Eligibility: U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; PMP and Primavera P6 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain project schedules and budgets using MS Project and Excel.
• Coordinate with management, engineers, designers, contractors, and vendors on plans.
• Communicate schedule changes to stakeholders including Infrastructure Division and Customer Advocate Office.
• Manage project costs, budgets, and spend plans; raise issues to management as needed.
• Analyze and present project performance data to management.
• Support on-site planning and lead planning meetings.
• Review, compile, and distribute documents and status updates to stakeholders.
