The role focuses on developing and improving production processes, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining engineering documentation. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering with at least two years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a regulated

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional engineering experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in a DoD, Navy, explosives, energetics, chemical processing, or other highly regulated environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data.

Aufgaben

• Support the development, evaluation, and improvement of energetics manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Analyze energetics manufacturing processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, reliability, safety, and throughput.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to equipment, materials, processes, and manufacturing operations.
• Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, work instructions, process docs, and specs.
• Support process development, testing, validation, and implementation of manufacturing improvements.
• Review production data and process performance to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production delays, material or part quality issues, equipment breakdowns, and other manufacturing challenges.
• Ensure processes and documentation align with engineering, quality, safety, and customer requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide engineering support to manufacturing operations.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other engineering deliverables.
