ERG seeks an experienced occupational safety and health (OSH) manager to support military defense facilities and operations onsite at ERG’s Indian Head, MD office. The role requires 8+ years in OSH, DoD compliance (EM385 1-1), safety program development, and proven ability to lead training and hazard investigations.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain DoD Secret clearance, with strong collaboration across program managers, clients, subcontractors, and regulators on a broad array

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of progressive experience in OSH, industrial safety, construction safety, or related discipline.
• Direct experience interpreting and applying local, state, and federal OSH standards, regulations, and requirements, including EM385 1-1 and other DoD requirements.
• Experience leading safety training, promoting employee engagement, and fostering a proactive safety culture.
• Ability to obtain or hold a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance and US citizenship.

Aufgaben

• Review and ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal OSH standards on a broad range of projects and programs.
• Manage, coordinate, and track employee occupational health requirements (pre-employment and job-specific examinations, respirator fit testing, drug testing, etc.).
• Prepare and/or review standard operating procedures.
• Perform OSH inspections of industrial and manufacturing areas, storage facilities, and construction sites.
• Follow up inspections to close out hazard abatement recommendations per 29 CFR 1960.
• Track the status of open actions using databases, spreadsheets, SharePoint lists, or Power Platform solutions.
• Interact with program managers, federal government clients, and a variety of stakeholders.
• Serve as a competent person and present training on OSH topics.
• Manage and document mishap and incident investigations.
