Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Facilities Representative in San Diego to ensure safe, efficient operations of 12 building portfolio. You will manage daily facility systems, budgets, and contractor coordination while upholding regulatory requirements and company standards.

The role demands a relevant degree or extensive experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Archibus, SAP ERP1, and Maintenance Connection. A Secret clearance will be pursued as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; or GED with 6+ years in facilities operations.
• Experience with self-directed tasks, prioritizing work and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Archibus, SAPERP1, Maintenance Connection software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, alarms).
• Use SAP/ERP1 for financial management including requisitions, invoices and budgets.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements; coordinate with EHS and CAL/OSHA.
• Design and revise layouts for new/reconfigured workspaces for efficiency.
• Manage inventory of furniture and facilities equipment; track, replenish, dispose.
• Respond to emergency maintenance 24/7 and coordinate resolution.
• Lead small to medium facility modification projects; develop scope and schedules.
• Develop project specifications and monitor milestones; supervise contractor work.
• Maintain relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors; liaison for maintenance.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and status reports for projects and programs.
• Deliver progress reports to stakeholders on a recurring basis.
• Oversee a San Diego facilities portfolio of 12 buildings.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
