Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Contract Administrator for our Mission Systems portfolio, based in San Diego, CA. This onsite role follows a 9/80 schedule and reports to the Contracts Manager. You will manage a portfolio of mostly cost-type development contracts and serve as the primary customer contact.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with experience or a Master’s with one year, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years contracts experience or Master’s with 1 year experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and SAP SD module.

Responsibilities

• Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate contracts.
• Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities.
• Coordinate with functional teams to lead internal proposal approvals.
• Advise program teams of contractual rights and obligations.
• Maintain contract documents and official program records.
• Monitor contract requirements and associated funding.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and government regulations.
• Administer, negotiate, and closeout contracts.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
