Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) seeks Principal or Senior Principal Facilities Engineer for onsite El Segundo, CA, supporting 9/80B operations. Role focuses on design, maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement of equipment and infrastructure to meet production goals and cost objectives.

The candidate will lead RCCA, FMEA and equipment health assessments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop preventive maintenance programs while overseeing spares and vendor

Qualifications

• Must have a STEM degree (B.S. with experience or higher).
• Experience in Power Systems, Electrical, Mechanical Design, Facilities or Aerospace.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance and Program Access.

Responsabilités

• Design, maintain, reliability and continuous improvement of manufacturing and operational equipment/infrastructure.
• Interact with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot; act as SME on electrical/electronic systems.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and critical spare parts inventories.
• Create RCCA, FMEA and equipment health/risk assessments.
• Develop machine monitoring strategies for reliability-centered maintenance.
