Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks a Project Manager within the Facilities Portfolio Management Unit (FPM) to help develop annual and 10-year facilities plans aligned with the US Navy training mission. You will coordinate AFP/RPPE tasks, inspections, and asset reporting, and serve as a key link between engineering, construction, leadership, and NR in facilities planning.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strategic planning, and effective communication to ensure safe and reliable facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with required experience as stated.
• 9+ years (or 7+ with Master's) relevant experience.
• Experience coordinating facilities planning and reporting.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the Annual Facilities Plan (AFP) and the Real Property Planning Estimate (RPPE).
• Coordinate facility inspections and report asset conditions to the DOE FIMS system.
• Contribute facility information to the Technical Work Plan (TWP).
• Develop integrated and actionable facilities plans aligned with workforce and funding resources.
• Serve as a liaison between engineering, construction, leadership, and NR on facilities planning.
