Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks a Project Manager within the Facilities Portfolio Management Unit (FPM) to help develop annual and 10-year facilities plans aligned with the US Navy training mission. You will coordinate AFP/RPPE tasks, inspections, and asset reporting, and serve as a key link between engineering, construction, leadership, and NR in facilities planning.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strategic planning, and effective communication to ensure safe and reliable facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with required experience as stated.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the Annual Facilities Plan (AFP) and the Real Property Planning Estimate (RPPE).
• Coordinate facility inspections and report asset conditions to the DOE FIMS system.
• Contribute facility information to the Technical Work Plan (TWP).
• Develop integrated and actionable facilities plans aligned with workforce and funding resources.
• Serve as a liaison between engineering, construction, leadership, and NR on facilities planning.

Job Description

The Facilities Portfolio Management Unit (FPM), part of the Kesselring Director Management Office (DMO), is responsible for creating both annual and 10-year facilities plans that align with the US Navy training mission at the Kesselring Site. As a Project Manager within FPM, your responsibilities include assisting in the development of the Annual Facilities Plan (AFP), the Real Property Planning Estimate (RPPE), coordinating facility inspections, reporting asset conditions to the Department of Energy (DOE) Facilities Information Management System (FIMS), and contributing facility-related information to the Technical Work Plan (TWP). You will play a key role in developing integrated and actionable facilities plans that are tailored to available workforce and funding resources. Additionally, this position serves as a vital link between engineering and construction teams and principal stakeholders, including executive management, and involves regular communication with leadership and NR regarding facilities planning.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

Pay Range

$106,200.00 - $166,000.00 annually

Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
