Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a PMI Manager to lead the Project Management and Integration subdivision, coordinating multi-site teams across SFHP, NEAP, and IIER. You will shape project strategy, manage risk, and drive planning and budgeting for major recapitalization efforts.

The role requires a strong track record in project leadership within complex design/construction projects and the ability to collaborate with Naval Reactors and senior executives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science from an accredited college/university.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with prior management experience.
  • PM knowledge and professional certifications (PMP and/or NNL PM Certification Program).
  • Ability to lead with senior managers and mentor staff.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for executive-level updates.
  • Experience with large design/construction projects and recapitalization initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project management systems and processes for SFHP, NEAP and IIER.
  • Provide strategic direction and support for all recapitalization projects.
  • Drive planning, performance monitoring, risk management, and budgeting outputs.
  • Coordinate communications across Naval Reactors DMOs and senior management.
  • Lead cross-site PMI organization and collaboration with DMOs to improve productivity.
