Johnson Controls is hiring a Project Coordinator in the United States to oversee building projects, budgeting, and reporting. You will coordinate contracts, vendor engagements, and financial records to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding safety and compliance standards.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and experience in facility management or project coordination, with strong Excel/Smartsheet/SharePoint skills and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, facility management, project management, or related field.
• Experience in facility management or project coordination is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building and construction project administration, including new construction, space buildouts, and facility expansions.
• Track to complete projects on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Maintain regular communication records for stakeholders, including city officials, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure documentation complies with policies, health and safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
• Track project performance and provide updates to stakeholders with proper documentation.
• Oversee financial operations: budgets, forecasts, accounts payable/receivable, and invoicing.
• Issue contracts per policy; manage vendor relationships and profile updates.
