Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Director, Project Delivery in the United States to lead capacity planning, staffing, and professional development for the construction and project management teams. You will drive profitability, client satisfaction, and adherence to safety programs while coordinating with VP/Branch leaders and procurement.

You will manage complex contracts, provide monthly financials, and mentor teams to deliver projects on time and within budget across diverse delivery models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (preferably technical i.e. Project/Construction Management, Engineering)
• 10+ years of project/construction management experience
• Deep understanding of multiple contract delivery models and financial structures
• Experience managing project/business portfolios in excess of $100M
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn Procore/Primavera

Responsibilities

• Manage capacity and staffing of the construction/project management teams
• Mentor staff and develop career plans for direct reports
• Ensure profitability, on-time delivery, budget and scope alignment
• Provide monthly financial reporting and forecasts for the portfolio
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and strong relationships with subcontractors
• Serve as single point of contact for C-level client interactions
