Job summary

Charlotte County seeks a Facilities Senior Program Coordinator to manage and implement programs, projects, and events that benefit County departments and the community. The role blends administrative rigor with technical coordination, requiring sound judgment and professionalism in daily operations and public engagement.

You will develop, coordinate, and evaluate initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets/records, and prepare reports and correspondence.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required or equivalent (area of assignment).
• Five (5) years of experience in area of assignment, to include lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement programs, projects, and events for County departments and the community.
• Coordinate short- and long-term initiatives and evaluate progress.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain budgets and records.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and correspondence; support outreach through materials and presentations.
• Supervise staff when assigned and coordinate contractors for events and facility operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and the public.
