Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks a Building Operations Manager to lead workplace services across the corporate campus. You will set service standards, develop operations teams, manage vendor partnerships, and optimize budgets while improving employee experience and space utilization.

You will collaborate with HR, IT, and business leaders to ensure operational readiness, safety compliance, and high-quality service delivery across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of facilities operations, workplace services, office operations, property management, hospitality management, or related experience.
• 3+ years of leading teams, vendors, or multi-function operations.
• Experience leading employee-facing service functions in workplace services, reception, mailroom, or facilities support operations.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, service contracts, and operational service delivery.
• Experience establishing KPIs, SLAs, and performance-reporting processes.
• Experience leading change initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day workplace operations across corporate facilities and oversee reception and workplace staff.
• Oversee front desk operations and visitor management for a professional, welcoming experience.
• Manage access-control processes and employee badge administration.
• Maintain workplace systems and records including space usage data and conference room scheduling.
• Coordinate office moves and workspace readiness with HR, IT, and business leaders.
• Establish service-level standards and reporting for workplace services and vendor-delivered services.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance service quality, efficiency, and employee experience.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures and governance for workplace operations.
• Manage mailroom and print services including shipping, packages, and couriers.
• Plan facility projects, renovations, and space reconfigurations with stakeholders.
• Manage operating budgets and approve invoices; identify cost-saving opportunities.
