Job summary

City of Hope in Irvine, CA seeks a Facilities Coordinator to keep Facilities Services organized, support daily administrative activities, and improve operational efficiency. You will build vendor relationships, manage inventories, and assist with compliance and data preparation.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of related experience with CMMS, PMs, and inventory control, plus strong communication and organizational skills. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years with CMMS, PM, work orders, inventory and equipment ordering.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently, manage changing priorities and collaborate across teams.
• Basic knowledge of building systems and drivers license required.
• Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ordering, procurement, receipt, stocking and inventory of departmental supplies.
• Evaluate inventory to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Maintain organized inventory storage areas and the maintenance shop.
• Prepare requisitions and research vendors, equipment, parts and services.
• Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, vendors and accounts payable to move orders forward.
• Negotiate with vendors, obtain bids, and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate returns, rentals, outside services, repairs and replacements.
• Issue and dispatch preventive and corrective work orders for timely completion.
• Coordinate system testing, repairs, training and data activities.
• Support compliance monitoring and minor maintenance projects including e-waste disposal.
