Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager in Missouri to support daily facility operations at a campus environment. You will assist in implementing policies, procedures, and workplace services to maintain a well-managed building and address tenant needs.

You will coordinate maintenance programs, safety, and reporting, while supporting budgets, capital planning, and vendor management. This role emphasizes collaboration with the Facilities Manager and client standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in facilities management, building, business or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years relevant experience in commercial or industrial real estate with facility management.
• Experience in maintenance, construction, engineering and all facets of property operation.
• CFM/IFMA/BOMA certifications recommended; other training a plus.
• Ability to read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.
• Proficient in understanding management agreements and contract language.
• Building Management Systems maintenance and monitoring.
• MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Knowledge of financial management including budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations including janitorial, life-safety, engineering and maintenance.
• Review and bid contracts; ensure invoices align with pricing.
• Supervise maintenance programs for interior and exterior property conditions.
• Respond promptly to building occupants' maintenance requests and manage contracts.
• Compile site documentation and reports (POM, manuals, logs, etc.).
• Prepare budgets, financial reports, contracts, expenditures and POs.
• Support development of capital budgets and five-year maintenance plans.
• Collect and analyze data to assess facility management objectives.
• Monitor contracts and insurance compliance with vendors.
• Inspect facilities and report findings to the Facility Manager.
