Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager in Farmington Hills, MI to lead a facilities maintenance team dedicated to reliability and safety. You will oversee a range of hard/soft services, utilities, and building automation, leveraging CMMS tooling and Maximo to optimize performance.

You will mentor staff, manage relationships with vendors, and ensure adherence to company goals and client expectations while fostering a culture of inclusion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Facility Management, Industrial Technology, or related technical field, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight years of experience in industrial Facilities Maintenance related work or demonstrated equivalent in experience with no education.
• 5+ years of facility operations/maintenance experience including supervisory experience in a technical field.
• Working knowledge of purchasing and/or managing subcontracts or vendors.
• Experience utilizing CMMS and Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Staff management experience, including disciplinary action, hiring, terminating, and performance appraisals.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Certification or formal training from Facility Maintenance Organizations such as IFMA, AFE or BOMA.
• Experience working in a GMP or similar regulated environment.
• Predictive maintenance experience and related diagnostics.
• Experience in contract negotiation and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Provide team leadership to administer predictive and reliability-centered maintenance program.
• Supervise staff performing facility maintenance, safety, building automation and projects.
• Utilize Maximo to monitor maintenance work and evaluate productivity.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex building utility systems and propose corrective actions.
• Oversee building automation system to adjust and track conditions.
• Mentor and develop team
• Improve technician knowledge and certifications
• Drive safety processes.
