Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Facility Operations to oversee maintenance, refrigeration systems, and safety at a high-volume distribution center.

You will lead a team, manage capital projects, and partner with QA, safety, and external vendors to maintain cold chain integrity and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, energy efficiency initiatives, and ensuring adherence to PWMs while maintaining strong associate relations.

Qualifications

• 5 years facilities management experience.
• 3 years refrigeration systems experience in cold chain.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor management.
• Proficiency with CMMS and basic data analytics to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor maintenance, sanitation, and facilities teams.
• Oversee refrigeration systems to maintain temperature control.
• Manage facility budgets, capital projects, and vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with QA, Safety, and operations for compliance and safety.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, GMP).
• Lead continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives.
