Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Facility Operations to lead the maintenance and efficiency of our distribution hub. You will manage refrigeration systems, safety programs, and regulatory compliance while directing a skilled facilities team to ensure continuous operation.

The role requires a strong background in cold chain environments, leadership, and CMMS analytics to optimize asset life and energy use. A Bachelor’s degree and ammonia-related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years facilities management experience.
• 3 years working with refrigeration systems within cold chain distribution.
• Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, GMP compliance.
• CMMS proficiency and data analytics to drive performance.
• Experience leading maintenance staff and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor maintenance and sanitation staff.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of refrigeration systems to maintain cold chain.
• Manage facility operations budgets, capex, and vendor contracts.
• Coordinate with QA, sanitation and safety teams on compliance and audits.
• Lead safety programs, incident investigations, and PWMs.
