US Foods in Plymouth, MN, is seeking a Manager of Facility Operations to lead a high-volume distribution center, ensuring cold chain integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will direct maintenance, sanitation, and facilities teams, oversee budgets and capital projects, and drive sustainability initiatives with CMMS automation.

The role requires leadership of maintenance staff, vendor coordination, and collaboration with QA, safety, and transportation teams to maintain uninterrupted

Qualifications

• 5 years of facilities management experience.
• 3 years working with refrigeration systems within cold chain distribution.
• Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams, budgets, and vendor contracts.
• Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, GMP, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with CMMS and basic data analytics to drive performance improvements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Direct and monitor associates responsible for building, grounds, sanitation, refrigeration systems, power industrial equipment, and security maintenance.
• Oversee refrigeration systems to maintain temperature control for perishables.
• Manage facility operations activities and capital projects.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff; manage labor hours within budget.
• Establish relationships with third-party vendors; ensure compliance certificates.
• Oversee assets procurement and inventory control.
• Partner with QA and sanitation to ensure food safety regulations.
• Develop and manage facility budgets and energy efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal regulations; conduct audits and document safety protocols.
• Coordinate with Safety Department for training and emergency planning.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to support receiving/storage.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
