Job summary

US Foods, a leading foodservice distributor, is seeking a Manager, Facility Operations in Marrero, LA. You will lead a facilities operations team, safeguard cold chain integrity, and ensure regulatory compliance across maintenance, sanitation, and security systems in a high-volume environment.

You will drive preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets, evaluate capital projects, and partner with QA, safety, and external vendors to optimize uptime and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5 years of facilities management experience.
• 3 years working with refrigeration systems within cold chain distribution.
• Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams and budgets.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA and GMP requirements.
• Proficiency with CMMS and data analytics to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor maintenance, sanitation, refrigeration, and security teams.
• Ensure cold chain integrity and regulatory compliance across facilities.
• Oversee facility operations, capital projects, and upgrades with minimal distribution impact.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff; manage labor budgets and schedules.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure contracts and insurance certificates are current.
• Manage assets, inventory, and equipment life cycles for efficiency.
• Partner with QA, safety, and sanitation to uphold food safety standards.
• Develop budgets, CAPEX requests, and sustainability initiatives.
