Job summary

Kansas City Kansas Community College is seeking a Maintenance Manager to provide leadership and oversight of maintenance operations across all facilities. You will supervise Maintenance Supervisors, coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensure reliable building systems in support of the college’s educational mission.

This role requires strong planning, budgeting, safety and regulatory compliance, and the ability to manage multiple projects with CMMS tooling.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Three years of supervisory experience and budget oversight.
• Experience coordinating across multiple building systems and trades.
• Experience with CMMS or similar work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Maintenance Supervisors and provide leadership to maintenance personnel.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations for all facilities and coordinate with contractors.
• Develop budgets, schedules, scopes of work, and oversee capital projects.
• Promote safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across facilities.
• Coordinate maintenance planning, preventive and predictive work, and reporting.
