Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or a related field; equivalencies may be considered.
• Three years of supervisory or management experience overseeing facility operations, maintenance staff, contractors, or skilled trades personnel.
• Experience with CMMS, Microsoft Office, and other automated work-order systems.
• Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
• Experience supporting or managing capital improvement, renovation, construction, or facility renewal projects.
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to travel between district locations and respond to emergencies outside of normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist and oversee the District's facilities and maintenance operations, including building systems, grounds, utilities, preventive maintenance, and repair services.
• Coordinate maintenance staffing, equipment, materials, contracted services, and work priorities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations.
• Lead and manage the District’s work-order system, ensuring timely intake, routing, tracking, completion, and reporting of all maintenance requests.
• Conduct facility assessments and evaluate building, equipment, and infrastructure conditions to identify maintenance, repair, replacement, and modernization needs.
• Manage maintenance inventory, tools, equipment, keys, access-control systems, and assigned vehicles to ensure they are tracked, secure, and ready for use.
• Support long-range facility planning; maintain up-to-date knowledge of facilities and safety requirements through training.
