Job summary

CBRE Facilities Manager will lead a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a portfolio of small to medium sized facilities. You will ensure safe, efficient performance and coordinate with vendors and technicians to deliver reliable services.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), 3–5 years in facilities or related field, strong leadership, budgeting, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Driver's license required; facility management certification preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, and performance management.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
• Leadership to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Strong organizational skills and a numerical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees, conduct evaluations and coaching, and assist in hiring.
• Schedule daily activities, set work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and address unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Conduct inspections and suggest operational improvements and upgrades.
• Oversee safety procedures for facilities and regulatory compliance.
• Review vendor quotes and manage invoicing for projects.
