Job summary

Security Service Federal Credit Union is seeking a facilities maintenance supervisor to oversee building upkeep across multiple sites, ensuring electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety systems operate reliably. The role involves supervising contractors, coordinating with Corporate Services, and contributing to budget planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 years of facilities/building maintenance or related experience.
• Ability to supervise vendors and coordinate contracts through Corporate Services.
• Must have relevant licenses or certifications as listed.
• Proven leadership and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and life safety.
• Schedule and supervise contractors and vendors; coordinate with AVP, Corporate Services.
• Ensure safety compliance and manage maintenance programs and budgets.
• Oversee supply chain operations for facilities and manage inventory.

Education

Associate Degree in Apprenticeship or vocational program

Plumbing or HVAC license or electrician license

Certified Facilities Manager

Facilities Management Professional (FCM)

Supervisory or management experience

Leadership abilities
