• Seven years of custodial/maintenance experience with basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

• Ability to effectively utilize a computer, Microsoft software, copier, printer and scanner.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Accurate record keeping and professional communication with all levels and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractors and inspections.
• Open the building.
• Monitor and order custodial and office supplies and complete purchase orders.
• Coordinate facility preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, improvements, trash pickup, shredding and related building work.
• Review and make recommendations on service contracts and leases.
• Maintain contractor contact list and alarm call list.
• Responsible for upkeep of maintenance issues with agency van.
• Identify areas of concern in the building.
• Maintenance and cleaning of floors throughout the building.
• Clean and sanitize kitchens and restrooms.
• Refill dispensers such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Trash collection and recycling.
• Seasonal property upkeep and keeping walkways clear of ice.
• Move furniture and deliveries; room setup for meetings.
