Job summary

Terminal Supply Co is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment, ensuring facilities are in optimal working condition.

The ideal candidate will have basic handyman and repair skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks while collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in a maintenance coordinator or similar role within a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform a morning walk-through of all facilities to identify any immediate issues.
• Complete basic repairs and improvements, including light plumbing, painting, trim work, bulb/fixture replacements, and other small-scale tasks.
• Serve as the point of contact for various vendors, including HVAC, roofing, lawn care & snow removal, fire safety, hi-lo repair, and more.
• Coordinate and manage the preventive and routine maintenance program for all machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
• Review maintenance requests and prepare action plans for the service and repair (in house and out of house).
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Provide weekly status updates to the Manager and communicate scheduled maintenance plans and emergency updates with Leadership.
