Qualifications

• Experience performing routine maintenance and repairs in school facilities or similar environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supervising, coordinating, or leading employees preferred.
• Self-motivated with the ability to address maintenance issues both inside and outside of buildings.
• Demonstrates strong ethical standards and takes responsibility for decisions and conduct.
• Effective time management, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple employees, buildings, work assignments, and priorities.
• Clear criminal background check appropriate for public school employment.
• Ability to use relevant technology, equipment, work-order systems, and other district systems as required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with custodial, maintenance, grounds staff, and district staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems, doors, and lighting.
• Complete minor plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, valves, and drains.
• Monitor BAS and assist with PMs to keep buildings in normal working order.
• Coordinate with custodial, administrators, maintenance, grounds staff, and outside contractors.
• Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and assist with ordering.
• Participate in on-call rotation or emergency response as required.
