Job summary

CBRE, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a portfolio of small to medium sized facilities. This role supports Property Managers with repairs and investment plans.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, organizational, and financial skills, and the ability to manage staff, schedules, vendors, and safety programs while driving operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in staffing, recruiting, training, coaching, and measuring performance.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information and set clear expectations.
• Leadership to motivate a team and improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and monitor staff training and development.
• Schedule and manage the team’s daily activities, assign tasks, and set deadlines.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrades.
• Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and review price quotes for parts, services and labor.
• Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs and safety best practices.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
