Job summary

JLL is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to partner with the Facilities Manager to run daily property operations for commercial spaces. You will manage MEP systems, lead improvement projects, and ensure client satisfaction through proactive facility performance.

The role requires strong project management, technical reading ability, and effective communication. Occasional after-hours on-call work and travel to sites may be required, with a focus on cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in facility management, building operations, or property management.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and BAS/BMS platforms.
• Proven project management experience with multiple priorities and cross-functional teams.
• Strong reading of technical drawings, equipment specs, and building codes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving with customer service orientation.
• Driver's license and ability to conduct on-site inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations with Facilities Manager, ensuring system efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Lead facility improvement projects from concept to delivery, managing scope, budget, and milestones.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement cost-saving, efficiency-improving initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, develop technical specifications, and monitor SLAs.
• Respond to tenant service requests and participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
