Job summary

North Texas Real Estate Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee maintenance, safety, security, and day-to-day functionality of HQ and satellite offices.

This hands-on, multi-location role includes vendor management, preventive maintenance, and room readiness for meetings and events. The ideal candidate combines practical facilities knowledge with strong organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills and is comfortable traveling regularly between

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of facilities management experience.
• Experience supporting meetings, events, room rentals, or similar facility-based functions.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Experience supervising or leading employees.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility-management/work-order systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA and ADA requirements.
• Ability to travel regularly among Association locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and daily facility operations across multiple locations.
• Manage relationships with janitorial, HVAC, landscaping, maintenance, security, and other facility vendors.
• Coordinate facility leases, moves, installations, and related projects.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and identify maintenance, safety, security, and operational needs.
• Monitor budgets, work orders, vendor activity, contracts, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and emergency procedures.
• Oversee access control, alarm, video surveillance, and security systems with IT.
• Coordinate room setup, A/V, signage, and hospitality for meetings and events.
• Partner with department leaders to understand and respond to needs.
• Supervise and develop Facilities Coordinator staff.
