Job summary

Exelon Corporation seeks a facilities manager to oversee building operations, maintenance, and security across a portfolio of occupied facilities. You will lead a team of staff and external providers, manage safety and compliance, and drive cost efficiency through lifecycle analyses and preventive maintenance programs.

The role requires strong leadership, negotiation and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering reliable operations and value forExelon’s diverse facilities footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required or 6–9 years of business experience in lieu of degree.
• Familiarity with facilities management planning, scheduling and maintenance of facility equipment.
• Effective performance management and supervisory experience.
• Experience implementing process enhancements using technology for performance improvement.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, build consensus and drive value in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop life cycle cost analyses for facility planning and location efficiency.
• Schedule and manage a skilled trade staff and ensure preventive maintenance is performed.
• Develop contingency plans for evacuation and emergency preparedness for facilities.
• Develop RFPs, evaluate vendors, and authorize changes and payments.
• Provide leadership and development for Facilities team and conduct performance reviews.
• Coordinate with occupants and other departments across Exelon.
• Oversee communication, safety, training, and continuous improvement within facilities.
• Manage O&M and capital budgets for the area of responsibility.
• Maintain performance indicators and supervise external facilities management partners.
