Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of a diverse portfolio of office facilities, service centers, reporting centers and substations. You will supervise a team of trades and facilities staff, manage budgets, and drive safety and reliability.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field with 4–7 years of facilities management experience, strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills, and a track record of implementing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with 4–7 years' experience, or equivalent business experience.
• Knowledge of facilities management planning, scheduling and maintenance of facility equipment.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Effective performance management and supervisory experience.
• Ability to negotiate with contractors and service providers.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to drive process improvements and deliver results in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop life cycle cost analyses for facility planning and identify optimal locations.
• Plan and schedule a staff of skilled trades for maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Develop and manage contingency plans for evacuation and emergency preparedness.
• Develop specifications, evaluate RFPs, and manage contracts and payments.
• Provide leadership and development for Facilities team and conduct performance reviews.
• Interface with occupants and other departments to coordinate activities.
• Ensure safety, training and communication are effectively implemented.
• Manage O&M and capital budgets for the area of responsibility.
• Maintain performance indicators and oversee external facilities management partners.
