Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Superintendent to lead daily operational management of building systems, ensuring safety, uptime, and cost-effectiveness. The role directs maintenance and engineering teams to protect client assets and optimize facility performance.

The successful candidate will manage preventive maintenance programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor staff while coordinating with contractors and tenants to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of professional education.
One-year certificate from college or technical school or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Universal CFC certification.
FDNY COF F-89 Fire Life Safety Director certification.
Technical degree in HVAC or five or more years of related experience.
Active Refrigeration Technician's license.

Responsibilities

Monitors operation and maintains HVAC and other building systems to ensure proper operation.
Manage inventory of tools and supplies; submit purchase orders and monitor stock levels.
Oversee activities of contractors working within the building.
Identify safety hazards and implement safety training programs.
