Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Facility Supervisor to lead the facilities department in the Boston area. The role focuses on daily management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as safety, energy management, and staff development.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, coordinate with contractors, develop budgets, and ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations. EPA 608 certification is required, with 3–5 years of FM experience. On-site role in Cambridge, MA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of facility management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in planning, organizing, and prioritizing work.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• Preferred qualifications include an Associate's degree or related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise facility staff; train and develop personnel.
• Manage budgets for operating and capital expenditures.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and grounds.
• Coordinate maintenance with external contractors and vendors.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure tenant safety.
• Maintain facility documentation and compliance with laws.
