Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in facility management or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and technical documentation.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and provide training and development.
• Coach team members to ensure HR processes and disciplinary actions are followed.
• Maintain compliance with safety training for all employees.
• Develop operating and capital budgets for facility maintenance.
• Analyze energy usage to optimize costs.
• Inspect mechanical spaces to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform maintenance tasks or standby duties as needed.
• Implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Maintain facility document library and compliance documentation.
• Provide training on building systems and equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance with external contractors.
• Oversee Electrical, Fire Life Safety, Grounds, HVAC, Plumbing, and Safety systems.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to tenants, clients, and vendors.
• Develop scopes of work for maintenance contracts and manage bidding.
• Respond to emergencies and address customer concerns.
• Maintain inventory control for parts and supplies.
