Job summary

Diamond Property Services is seeking a dynamic Building Superintendent to oversee daily operations and maintenance of the building. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and reliable functionality of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems, keeping the environment safe and operational at all times.

Lead maintenance teams, develop and implement preventative maintenance programs, and utilize reporting software to generate inspections and performance reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management and maintenance environments.
• Strong leadership with the ability to lead teams while enforcing safety.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience using preventive maintenance tracking software and generating reports.

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Building Superintendent to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the building. This role is vital in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and functionality of the building systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and a passion for maintaining high standards of facilities and building management and implement preventative strategies to keep our environment safe and operational at all times.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs utilizing software for generating reports.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies; address issues related to industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards; maintain documentation related to maintenance activities and safety protocols.
• Preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Lead emergency response efforts for facility incidents; communicate effectively with emergency responders when necessary.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities management and maintenance environments.
• Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a safety-first culture.
• Extensive mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting high- and low-voltage systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English; capable of preparing reports, documenting procedures, and coordinating with diverse teams effectively.
• Experience using preventive maintenance tracking software and inspection reporting tools.
