Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the operations team at our Malvern, PA site. The role oversees building systems, budgets, vendor contracts, and client relationships to align with business objectives and safety standards.

Responsibilities include developing budgets, supervising the Chief Engineer, and driving continuous improvement. This on-site position emphasizes safety culture, stakeholder collaboration, and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of facilities management experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Experience managing operating budgets and vendor contracts.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the Chief Engineer and facility operations team.
• Establish performance expectations, goals, and development plans for direct reports.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate resources to support operational requirements and client priorities.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of building systems.
• Oversee maintenance programs including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Review operational performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and operational reviews.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets.
• Review and approve expenditures, purchase requests, and service contracts.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
• Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast future needs.
• Manage service providers and contractor relationships.
• Develop scopes of work, review proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor vendor performance, compliance, and service delivery.
• Serve as the primary client contact for facility operations.
• Lead governance meetings and present operational, financial, and project updates.
• Respond to escalated facility concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Build strong relationships with clients, occupants, and business partners.
