Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire seeks a Facilities and Operations Manager to lead maintenance, kitchen operations, and safety compliance across multiple locations in Sioux Falls. You will oversee facilities and kitchen staff, drive preventive maintenance, coordinate contractors, and support departmental budgeting to keep locations safe and functional.

You will ensure compliance with health, safety, ADA and emergency prep, manage relationships with vendors and inspectors, and support

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management; two years minimum required, five preferred.
• Strong project management and team leadership abilities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure efficient facilities and kitchen operations.
• Supervise facilities and kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, ADA, and food service regulations.
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules and safety inspections.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors for maintenance and facility projects.
• Manage procurement and budgeting for facilities and kitchen operations.
• Support planning of organizational events requiring facilities coordination.
