Job summary

DTCC in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to manage day-to-day facility operations and oversee outsourced staff. This role requires physical presence in the office five days a week.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in engineering and a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and managing vendor relationships. A competitive compensation package is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operations, maintenance, and testing of building systems.
• Supervise cleaning staff and execute quality control processes.
• Create and track Purchase Orders comparing spend versus budget.
• Monitor site’s building monitoring systems and alarms.
• Assist in facilities process improvements.
• Support Health & Safety assessments and testing.
• Manage amenities support like coffee and vending.
• Respond to emergency situations relating to facilities.
• Support vendor project construction work.
• Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities.
• Maintain DTCC’s ISO 50001 and 14001 certifications.
• Support space planning and manage moves/relocations.

Skills

Read architectural and engineering building drawings

Proficiency with AutoCAD

Excellent communication & written skills

Client focus

Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Experience with SNOW/Nuvolo Work Order System

Vendor relationship management

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
