Job summary

Orange County Government is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance and operations of county facilities. You will inspect building systems, monitor ongoing repairs, and address service needs from facility users to ensure quality and timely work.

The role reports to the Facilities Maintenance Manager and grants considerable independent judgment within rules and policies. It requires background checks and a pre-employment drug screen, and supervision of assigned staff as

Qualifications

• Graduation from High School or GED and 3 years in maintenance/renovations/repairs.
• 2 years of experience leading teams or supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-field oversight to ensure priority work orders are assigned and completed on time.
• Supervise assigned staff and coordinate across departments as needed.
• Coordinate with facilities and manage emergencies or severe weather responses.
