Job summary

Orange County Government’s Water Reclamation Division seeks a Sr. Utilities Maintenance Coordinator to lead maintenance teams, coordinate activities, and ensure facilities operate reliably. You will oversee trades, coordinate vendors, and respond to emergencies to maintain uninterrupted wastewater service.

The role requires a high school diploma with five years of related experience, familiarity with Maximo, and a valid Florida driver’s license. Occasional after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and five years of experience in equipment maintenance and materials management systems for wastewater facilities.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.
• Certification or license may be required based on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance activities by multiple crews and schedule work to maintain facilities in good operating condition.
• Review work performed by trades, coordinate vendors and subcontractors, and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Prepare budget recommendations and manage expenditures to meet objectives.
• Work with independent judgment under supervision of the department manager.
