Job summary

The City of Anaheim, CA seeks an experienced Facilities Operations Superintendent to lead the Facilities Services Section within the Operations & Maintenance Division. The role oversees maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preservation of City facilities and related infrastructure, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Five years of responsible maintenance and construction experience related to the area of assignment, plus administrative/lead supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance operations, contract administration, budgeting, and reporting procedures.
• Familiarity with building systems operations, safety codes, and asset management practices.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for the assigned section.
• Participate in budget development and administration; forecast funds for staffing and materials.
• Prepare specifications for projects and service contracts; coordinate withPurchasing and outside vendors.
• Ensure facilities are maintained safely and in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of electrical, HVAC, and building systems.
