Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Manager, Facility Operations to lead a facilities, maintenance, and sanitation team in a high-volume distribution environment.

You will oversee refrigeration systems, safety compliance, budgets, and vendor contracts while driving uptime and cold-chain integrity. The role requires 5 years in facilities management, expertise with CMMS, and a strong track record in leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5 years of facilities management experience.
• 3 years working with refrigeration systems within cold chain distribution.
• Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams, budgets, and vendor contracts.
• Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, GMP, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with CMMS and basic data analytics to drive performance improvements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor maintenance, sanitation, refrigeration, power equipment, and security teams using PMs and PWMs.
• Oversee refrigeration systems to maintain cold chain integrity for perishable products.
• Lead capital projects, budget adherence, and cross-functional repairs with other departments.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff; manage labor hours and scheduling.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with certificates of insurance and contracts.
• Develop and manage facility budgets and capital expenditures; pursue cost-reduction and energy-efficiency opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, and GMP requirements; conduct internal audits and inspections.
• Partner with Safety to deliver training, safety observations, and incident investigations.
