Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking an Associate Facilities Manager in Waltham, MA to oversee campus-wide building systems and infrastructure.

You will coordinate maintenance, manage vendor relationships, and support facility improvement initiatives to ensure reliable, safe operations. The role requires hands-on knowledge of BAS/EMS, strong communication, and the ability to respond to emergencies while supporting a high-performance facilities program across office, labs, and support

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering Technology, Building Operations, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, higher education, or research facilities.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and oversee preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for building systems and equipment.
• Manage daily interactions with contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and safety procedures.
• Monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS) and EMS, respond to alarms, and coordinate troubleshooting with internal teams and vendors.
• Perform routine facility inspections, track work requests, and support facility improvement projects.
